Things I Accomplished This Year
Because yes, this was an overall horrible year emotionally, but there was a ton of awesome, and I think I should acknowledge that.
Got my teaching credential
Got a Master’s Degree
Got a full time teaching job
Got out of several bad relationships (this tore me up, but I’ll count them as wins)
Paid off my credit cards
Let go of Disney and made room for free time

It seems to me that I prefer to have done things than to have things to do. So I am going to catalog my achievements rather than my list. At any given moment, I have 30 things to do. So as long as I’m doing one of them, I’m being productive. A growing “done” list may be more rewarding than a shrinking “to do” list.
If this works, I’m writing a book.

When I say “Beff,” I’m not crazy. It’s what my BFF and I call each other. Her name is Jessica. She has a tumblr, too.
Also I have three Jessicas. Two of them are two of my best friends. Don’t worry so much about that part.
I may be older.
Yes I’m 25. But I still put out snacks for Santa and the reindeer. I’m getting sassy with it though, I left the reindeer a green onion and some squishy blueberries, and for Santa, an apple. I hope they still eat them.
And you better believe I’ll be asleep in the next 5 seconds so Santa still comes.

I just got my grades.
Looks like I finished grad school with a 3.98 GPA. Dammit, Laurence! So close to perfect.
But if grades are in, that means my thesis is officially accepted and I’m really done, right? Merry Christmas!
